KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh said Saturday that the Sindh government is dragging him in courts because he exposed it corruption.
“Largest sugar mafia of Pakistan is in Sindh, he said while talking to media at Malir Court. Sheikh said that he would continue exposing their corruption. He said the Sindh government had dubbed their more than 200 party workers as terrorists. He said the rulers of Sindh were economic terrorists and were looting the resources of Sindh, he alleged.
Sheikh said that previous day the Prime Minister gave the second package of Rs446 billion to the people of Sindh. He said their captain not only made announcements but also ensured their implementation. He said Murtaza Wahab should read before speaking.
He said the Prime Minister had given health cards to 275,000 families in Tharparker. He said during last 13 years, Sindh government spent Rs7880 billion but no development could be seen anywhere. He said during these 13 years, not an additional drop of water was given to the Karachiites. He said the federal government had started immediate work on K-IV project through Wapda. He said the Green Line was starting this August. He said the federal government had also carried out cleaning of drain in Karachi.
He said on the other hand corruption is busy in China cutting of plots in the Nullahs of Malir Expressway. He said from Malir to Darsano Channo, PPP men are selling these plots. He said the Prime Minister had given a package of Rs700 billion to utility stores, adding the rulers of Sindh had given no relief to people. He said in Sindh corruption was made in even development funds, adding there was a report of P and D Department about 40 percent corruption in Rs1700billion uplift funds. He said the looted funds went to accounts of Omni Group. He said would Murtaza Wahab tell the people of Sindh where Rs7880 billion were spent in Sindh in 13 years.
