Shutdown in Shopian marks anniversary of civilian killings

Srinagar, September 07, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Shopian town, today, to mark the fifth anniversary of four civilians, who were killed by Indian troops. The civilians, Tawseef Ahmed, Muhammad Yousuf, Abdullah Haroon and Tariq Ahmed Mir were killed in Gagren area of the town on this day in 2013.

All the shops and business establishments were closed in the town while the traffic was sparse on the road. On the other hand, Indian police arrested a student, Amir Hameed, from his residence at Babakhider-Trenz area during a night crackdown.
