In Lahore, the Air Quality Index (AQI) exceeded 1,000, which is 70% higher than the standard recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
According to the Punjab Health Department, over 55,000 cases of eye infections were reported across Punjab in the last week of October, with 7,000 cases reported in Lahore alone. This situation is causing serious health issues for people, including breathing difficulties and other illnesses.
