Islamabad, June 04, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and ex- Convener APHC AJK, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has felicitated Muslims on Eid ul Fitr praying to Allah for their safety, security and solidarity in such odd and testing times all across the globe.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad reminded the Muslims that they were the torchbearers of love, and fraternity of new world message and age that was revealed by Allah on Muhammad peace be upon him, as His last Prophet on Earth.
“The sacred and unique concept of fraternity and mercy is the essence of Islam which finalized in the best and purest form of life and character of Muhammad SAWS 15 hundred years back in the Arab-peninsula, urging the Muslims to follow the message of Islam in letter and spirit. Notwithstanding, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, expressed shock over the wave of pre- planned wave of anger and militant Hindutva, Zionist and crusade, onslaught against the Muslims under Islamophobia.”
He said, “The aims and objectives of a universal brotherhood, peace and progress can’t be achieved in any country of the world by maligning Islam, disrespecting its symbols and terrorizing and running ethnic-cleansing campaign against the Muslims. Some big member states of the UN are flagrantly flouting the UN rules and regulations against the Muslims and Islam.
Indian BJP rulers and the Zionist regime of Israel are in collaboration with each other against the Muslim populations in their respective states. India has denied the right to life and the right of self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir violating the UNCIP resolutions and her own age-old promise of a plebiscite with the Kashmiris.
Pro-freedom leaders and sympathisers are in thousands languishing in jails and police centers for the last several decades. India has made Jammu and Kashmir a killing field where the holy Ramzan of fasting is no exception to crush the freedom struggle of the people. Scores of civilians and freedom fighters were martyred during Ramzan and houses burned by the army with impunity. However the resolve to achieve the goal of freedom is unparalleled.”
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani asked the OIC to urge the Muslim states to implement the principles of Islam and democracy in their countries, cement bonds of fraternity, stop killings against each other and raise their voice and devise ways and means to protect life, honour, and property of Muslims around the globe.
He congratulated the government, the armed forces and people of Pakistan for their unwavering support for the Muslim cause and paid rich tributes to the Kashmiris and their martyrs for their sacrifices, and unparalleled struggle for the right of self-determination.
