A diplomatic reception was hosted by Ms Natalie Baker, Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Islamabad, in honor of a visiting US Congressional delegation, marking an effort to bolster parliamentary diplomacy between the two nations.
The delegation included Representative Jack Bergman (R-MI), Representative Tom Suozzi (D-NY), and Representative Jonathan Jackson (D-IL). Members of the Pakistan-U.S. Parliamentary Friendship Group were present to reflect the spirit of bilateral cooperation.
Ms Romina Khurshid Alam extended a warm welcome on behalf of the Pakistan-U.S. Parliamentary Friendship Group, emphasizing the significance of deepening strategic partnerships through open dialogue.
