Multan:A woman died and 20 others were injured at stampede at a center for distributing cash assistance amongst the needy people here Friday.
Police sources said that more than 4000 needy women gathered at a cash assistance distribution center in M.A. Jinnah government high school.
As a result, a stampede was witnessed in which one 70 years old woman died and 20 other women injured. District administration has ordered a probe into this glaring incident of mismanagement.
