The Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) Lahore celebrated the 97th birth anniversary of the party’s founder and former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto here on Sunday.
A cake was cut in a ceremony held at the office of PPP Additional Secretary General Ali Badar. The cake cutting ceremony ended with a poem recited by Syed Wajid Ali Shah. PPP leaders Munawar Anjum, Sohail Malik, Syed Wajid Ali Shah and a large number of the party workers attended the ceremony.
Speakers at the function paid glowing tributes to the late prime minister Bhutto as saying Bhutto who was not only a leader of Pakistan but who was among the top leadership of the Islamic world.
