KARACHI:A Gilani Research Foundation’s survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan says a vast majority of Pakistani males (92%) claim they wear Shalwar Kameez while 6% say they never wear Shalwar Kameez.
A nationally representative sample of men from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you wear Shalwar Kameez or not?” In response, 92% said yes and 6% said no while 2% said they did not know or wish to respond.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1,480 men and women in urban and rural areas of all four provinces of the country, during April 21-April 30, 2019.
