TAMBOO: Former Prime Minister and veteran politician Zafarullah Jamali has said continuation of democracy should go on. Clash and confrontation with institutions would be detrimental. We would finalize course of action for 2018 elections after consultation with people and close friends.
He said this while speaking with a delegation which called on him with former President PPP Jaffarabad Ahmed shah.
Delegations exchanged views with him about 2018 elections Syed Manzoor Shah also invited Zafarullah Jamali for joining PPP.
Zafarullah Jamali told that he would take any decision after consultation with his friends and colleagues because people in Nasirabad and Jaffarabad have also supported him. People’s opinion is very important and whatever decision he would take would be in the interest of people and development of area.
He said democratic process should continue. It would be better for democracy and country’s interest. Democratic forces are not supportive of confrontation and entire nation desires progress, prosperity and lasting peace. Pak Army and security forces by sacrificing their lives established peace and order in the country. Nation is proud of its martyrs. Pakistan is country of us all and there is need. We all should play our role for country’s stability and solidarity.
