Islamabad:Noted economist and Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) Economic Affairs Division chairperson Dr Shahida Wizarat has said that foreign interference into our economic affairs is not tolerable at any cost.
Talking to a delegation here Tuesday, she said the recent changes in finance ministry of Pakistan show a huge interference into our national affairs. She said the whole Pakistani nation is disappointed in this regard. She said it is the right of Pakistanis to run the finance ministry and people who would take care of the foreign interests in this ministry are not acceptable to the nation. She said we condemn such changes.
Dr Shahida Wizarat said the Pakistanis should get untied and tell the world powers that they are against their interference into matters of our country. She said we have no dearth of resources. She said if we provide a country our resources and land and air routes we should receive market rate compensation from it. She said the policy of giving our national resources to other countries free of cost should be abandoned.
PDP leader said we have educated people and experts and our technocrats should be given chance to serve the country and nation. She said it was not mistake of Asad Umar, but our wrong policies continuing from last three deceases should be blamed.
She said if we continue to accommodate people who safeguard interests of certain quarters, our friends like Russia and China would not be happy.
