KARACHI:Director Private Schools Saturday shared initial investigation report about injuring of seven school children in the van fire incident that happened in Orangi town today.
According to initial investigation, the school van in which incident occurred was not of any private school, but it is owned by Afan-Bin-Usman Madrassa. The students were going for Quran teaching when the van caught fire due to short circuit, said Mansoob Siddiqui.
Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has ordered all private schools to ensure fitness of their students vans so as to avoid any untoward incident in the future. He said: “I will also request Wafaq-ul-Madaaris to ensure fitness certificates of seminaries’ vans.” Sindh Minister Transport Owais Qadir Shah has also taken a notice of the incident took place in Orangi.
