LAHORE: Jamaat-eIslami (JI) has urged the new government to take a strong stance against the competition of profane caricatures in Holland to demonstrate its love for the Holy Prophet.
Jamaat e Islami, Deputy Chief Hafiz Mohammad Idrees also called upon the Muslim rulers to sever diplomatic and trade ties with such countries as were involved in desecration. He said that every believer was committed to protect the respect and sanctity of the noble Prophet.
He said that Allah Almighty had himself praised the noble Prophet and all the satanic forces in the world could not lower the image of the Holy Prophet.He said that divine curse was bound to fall on all those who were involved in the desecration of the noble Prophet.
He further said that PTI government would have to take a bold stand on the issue of profanity otherwise its claims of taking Madina state as its model would prove to be hollow.The JI’s deputy chief said unfortunately, certain elements within the country were active against the concept of the finality of the Holy Prophet.
He said that every individual, party and group would have to resolve that they won’t tolerate such elements in any case. He said that there could be several political or social differences among our people but they could not compromise on the issue of Khatme Nubuwwat.
