KARACHI:Medical and Health Services Department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has declared high alert in 13 health facilities to cater to heat-stork patients following the predication of heat-wave in the city.
According to the notification, high alert has been declared in 13 hospitals of KMC during heat-wave on the directives of Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar. The hospitals of Medical and Health Services Department, KMC and Rescue 1122 ambulance service have been put on high alert during heat stroke emergency, as there is predication of heat-wave in Karachi during upcoming days.
As per predication of Metrological Department the temperature will rise up to 39-41 degree centigrade from 24 May to 31 May 2019.
All kind of leaves have hereby cancelled immediately. No application for casual leave will be considered till further order. Focal persons should ensure their presence with foolproof arrangements to deal with emergency and they have been directed to ensure attendance/punctuality according to duty roster.
