KARACHI:Landhi police claimed to have recovered a huge stash of textbooks from a ragman’s warehouse which were supposed to be distributed free of cost amongst the students in the metropolis.
SHO Landhi Sarwar Commando in a press conference at his office said on a tip-off, a police team arrested a junk dealer owner, Rizwan. In the light of Rizwan’s information police raided in a junk store and recovered hundreds of textbooks of the Sindh Textbook Board.
He further said these books included textbooks of Chemistry, English, and other subjects which were supposed to be distributed free amongst the students of government schools.
Police registered a case and started further investigation.
