LARKANA:Mammography Machine was donated to Chandka Medical College (CMC) by former students of the CMC. It will help in proper diagnosis of breast cancer. In this connection, a ceremony was held which was participated by CMC Principal, senior professors, doctors, Chandka Medical College Hospital Medical Superintendent and students.
Dr Talat Ghous, who is working in Chicago and brought the machine, said” “What we have obtained from CMC, it is time to repay it and serve it to the fullest of our ability.” Dr Khalil Katpar said: “CMC is a great institution whose graduates are working around the globe. Maintenance expenditure of the machine will also be borne by our batch.”
Prof Naeem Qureshi said that first snake bite vaccine laboratory would soon be established in CMC which would be first of its kind in Asia. He said it would bring new identification to CMC. He said: “We will also establish a training center in CMC which will show that all snakes are not dangerous for human beings but 70% of them are people-friendly. CMC Principal Prof K Das said that the machine would greatly help in diagnosing breast cancer which is rising day by day. CMCH MS Dr. Ali Gohar Dahri said that he saluted the social welfare activities of the former CMC students.
