KARACHI:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Nusrat Wahid said Friday that the conspiracy, which was hatched to make the NAB chairman controversial figure, would not succeed any more.
“Few elements have got afraid of NAB prosecution without discrimination, so they are trying to make the chairman NAB, Justice Javed Iqbal, a controversial figure through media. A media show with the title of harassment is absolutely baseless and we condemn it,” she said while talking to a journalists delegation.
Nusrat said that they would not bow down before PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari in view of his threats to hold protest demonstrations after Eidul Fitre.
She further said that all the political parties, including PPP, could fulfill their desire of protest in Islamabad, and ‘we are ready to provide them containers’. She also said that PPP and PML-N had no interest in the problems being faced by the people of Pakistan, as both the parties were trying to utilize the political workers in order to get rid of their cases.
“But public is now aware of the fact that both parties are trying to divert the attention of the people towards price hike in a bid to get rid of their cases.” She said that the nation would not listen to their call and the bid to create chaos through the protests would not be succeed.
