KARACHI:The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Rabita Committee has expressed deep concern over political target killing of workers and innocent people in the metropolis.
In a statement on Tuesday Rabita Committee said: “It’s quite unfortunate and a matter of concern, as well, that miscreant elements are continuously targeting political leaders and workers.” But it doesn’t bother the provincial government as it continues to fail in controlling the law and order situation, it continued.
It further stated the fresh wave of terrorism has already claimed lives of our senior member Ali Raza Abidi, our worker Shakeel Ansari and three activists including Abdul Habib, the PSP candidate from the Sindh Assembly’s PS-122 constituency, but no arrest has been made as yet.
Rabita Committee demanded to authorities to ensure immediate arrest of the terrorists and facilitators involved in the target killing.
Rabita Committee also expressed concern over the reported surge in street crime in the metropolis and urged Sindh government to take concrete measures for controlling such crimes.
