KARACHI:A one-day free medical camp was arranged by Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Karachi at Karachi Central Hospital.
It was part of PMA Karachi activities for social uplift and community service for less privileged areas. Patients were examined and medicines were distributed for free. PMA Karachi has been arranging many types of activities in different areas of Sindh for the welfare and social uplift of the community.
The consultants/ doctors and paramedical staff were deputed at the camp to provide medical treatment in general health care. On this occasion services were provided for, consultation, cardiology, Ear Nose and Throat, gynecology, family medicine, dermatology, psychiatry, chest, pediatrics, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, diabetes, vaccination.
The doctors performed the ECG, BMD, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid and HB. Besides medical facility, the camp also aimed at educating local populace on personal health, hygiene and child health, preventions of diseases and sanitation of living areas.
