KARACHI: A high-level meeting was held in Headquarters Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday to review the security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.
The meeting was presided over by Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Mohammad Saeed. It was attended by top officials of the Sindh police, law enforcement agencies, and rangers.
During the meeting, law enforcement agencies configured a comprehensive joint security plan to ensure the law and order situation regard the month.
The meeting decided that keeping in mind the security of processions and gatherings, the personnel of Rangers and Sindh police will be deployed for flag march, snap-checking and strict surveillance.
The meeting stressed that in the light of directives of Sindh government, the prevailing of law and implementation of code of conduct would be ensured strictly.
It was also decided in meeting that hateful material, symbols, castes, CDs, video and objectionable slogans would be prohibited.
The public was also appealed that if they see any miscreant, suspicious activity and any unpleasant condition, they should immediately inform the Ranger’s helpline number 1101 or Rangers helpline WhatsApp number 03162369996.
