Two individuals were arrested following an armed encounter between law enforcement agencies and alleged suspects in Shah Faisal Colony today, with one of them also being injured in the exchange of fire.
Authorities recovered weapons and a motorcycle from the scene after the encounter. A formal investigation into the incident is underway.
In a separate operation on the same day, personnel from the Saddar police station detained two wanted suspects involved in drug trafficking.
During the operation, officials recovered 40 grams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ice, from the suspects’ possession.
A formal case has been registered against both suspects, and further investigation has been initiated.
