KARACHI: At least 37,193 frontline health workers have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in Sindh province, an official at Sindh health department told PPI on Friday.
As per statistics shared by Sindh health department, a total OF 37,193 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in Sindh province since 2 February 2021 out of which 4,912 healthcare professionals were vaccinated at Khaliq Dina Hall Vaccination Centre Karachi, 2,393 at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, 3,688 at Dow University of Health Sciences Ojha Campus, 3,158 at Sindh Government Qatar Hospital Orangi, 1,008 at Sindh Government Hospital New Karachi, 1,653 at Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad, 958 at Sindh Government Children Hospital, 3,034 at Sindh Government Hospital Korangi, 4,258 at Aga Khan Hospital, 2,349 at Malir Hospital and 167 at SIUT Karachi.
Apart from Karachi, 4,386 frontline healthcare workers were inoculated against the coronavirus at Liaquat University of Medical Sciences (LUMS), 4,268 at Shaheed Benazirabad’s MCH Centre, 333 at IHS Sukkur, 172 at CMCH Larkana and 456 at DHQH Mirpurkhas. The data further showed that 27,578 healthcare workers were vaccinated in Karachi in 14 days out of total 37,193.
