A 39-year-old woman was injured by a stray bullet in Orangi Town, her condition is said to be critical.
The incident occurred on Saturday near Khizra Mosque in Sector 13 of Orangi Town. Authorities have identified the victim as Najma wife of Naveed.
Following the incident, the injured woman was immediately moved to a medical facility for necessary treatment of her wounds.
Officials at the Orangi Town police station have taken notice of the matter. A formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stray bullet has been launched by the West District Police.
