An alleged robber was injured by a gunshot during an encounter with the police in the Orangi Town area on Thursday.
The incident occurred near a girls’ college located in Sector 15-C.
Authorities identified the injured individual as 35-year-old Faisal alias DJ, son of Abu Bakar.
Following the armed exchange, an Edhi ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported the injured suspect to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.
According to initial information released, the Pakistan Bazar Police Station is overseeing the case.
