Pakistan-China Business Forum inaugurates new sub-branch in Hangzhou

The Pakistan-China Business Forum has inaugurated a new sub-branch in Hangzhou, a prominent economic centre in China’s Zhejiang province, in a move designed to significantly advance economic cooperation between the two nations.

According to a report on Tuesday, the new office is positioned to spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting bilateral trade, investment, and overall economic partnership.

Its core responsibilities will involve creating connections between companies from Pakistan and China and encouraging sector-specific collaboration.

The primary areas of focus for the new branch include information technology, textiles, e-commerce, and manufacturing.

Shehzad Ahmad Khan, the Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony and highlighted the new establishment”s instrumental role in reinforcing the ties between the two countries.
