Over 130 Fuel Stations Transformed into Digital Donation Hubs for Ramadan Campaign

More than 130 of Pakistan State Oil’s (PSO) flagship fuel stations across the country are being converted into active centres for social change as part of a nationwide donation campaign launched for the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with five prominent non-governmental organisations, was formally inaugurated at a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at PSO House.

The ceremony was led by the Chairman of the PSO CSR Trust, Rizwan Ahmed. Senior leadership from the partner organisations-LRBT, Patients’ Aid Foundation, Indus Hospital and Health Network, HANDS, and The Citizens Foundation-were also in attendance.

The campaign will see retail outlets in major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Sukkur, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar, serve as both fuel supply points and effective platforms for humanitarian service and charitable participation.

To ensure all Zakat and donations promptly reach deserving beneficiaries, PSO has integrated modern and user-friendly digital payment systems at all participating locations. Customers can use special messages and QR codes, allowing them to turn a routine fuel stop into a meaningful act of charity.

This system is designed to make the donation process simple, transparent, and immediate.

Demonstrating a commitment to corporate social responsibility, PSO is providing the entire platform and its associated prominent advertising spaces to its partners free of charge.
