A suspected robber was taken into custody in an injured condition after a fierce exchange of fire with Baghdadi police near the Anjuman Baloch office in Lyari’s Eid Gah Lane.
Authorities identified the arrested suspect as Sajid Ali alias Atif on Thursday afternoon.
After the encounter, officials seized a motorcycle and a pistol with ammunition from the scene.
The injured suspect has been moved to a medical center for treatment under police custody.
The Baghdadi police station has initiated a further investigation into the matter.
