A 25-year-old youth was injured today in Shah Latif Town by an accidental gunshot from his own pistol, and has been shifted to a hospital.
Authorities have identified the youth as Bheem Raj son of Maloo. The incident occurred within the limits of the Shah Latif police station in Malir district.
According to the report of the local Station House Officer (SHO), the injured person was immediately shifted to the hospital for medical attention after the accident.
Police have confirmed that a formal investigation into the circumstances of the accidental shooting incident has been initiated.
