Two individuals were arrested as a result of an armed clash between law enforcement agencies and suspected robbers in the Khan Brohi Goth area of Surjani, while one suspect was also injured during the incident.
An exchange of fire took place between the parties on Tuesday, which led to the arrest of both individuals.
Authorities have identified the injured suspect as Abdullah Shah, son of Amir Ullah. The name of the second person taken into custody has been stated as Umair, son of Aman Ullah.
Personnel from the Surjani Police Station, located within the limits of District West, recovered a pistol and related bullets from the crime scene.
Authorities have confirmed that a further, detailed investigation into the matter has been launched.
