Pakistan Coast Guards and Pak Navy joint operation, drugs worth $110 million recovered

Pakistan Coast Guards and Pak Navy today successfully foiled a major international drug smuggling attempt in a significant joint operation, resulting in the seizure of drugs worth approximately $110 million from the Jiwani area.

The massive consignment, hidden in the mountains following a joint intelligence operation, included 1,050 kilograms of Hashish and 200 kilograms of Methamphetamine, also known as Ice.

According to officials, these illegal drugs were to be smuggled to foreign countries via sea routes.

This operation is a severe blow to the financial lifeline of militant groups, as officials noted that drug smuggling networks provide organized revenue to terrorists.

The Pakistan Coast Guards reiterated their commitment to preventing such smuggling and dismantling the criminal syndicates involved, emphasizing that their elimination has become imperative for national security.
