Crackdown against organized criminal gangs in Islamabad, 4 arrested, stolen vehicles worth millions recovered

Islamabad Police today arrested four members of an organized car theft gang, resulting in the recovery of six stolen vehicles worth millions of rupees. These arrests are part of a widespread campaign targeting active criminal gangs in the city.

The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Unit (AVLU) carried out a successful operation, arresting these individuals who confessed to their involvement in multiple car theft incidents.

Authorities have confirmed that all necessary legal procedures will be followed to ensure these criminals receive appropriate punishment for their crimes.

SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt reiterated the police force’s commitment, stating, “Widespread operations are being conducted against organized and active gangs.” He further emphasized that actions against those who snatch valuable items from citizens will continue indiscriminately.
