Qom, August 16, 2019 (PPI-OT): A big rally was taken out in Qom city of Iran, today, against the increase if Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The rally which started from Al-Quds Mosque was participated by Kashmiri students as well as a large number of Iranian people. They raised slogans against India and in favour of freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation.
The participants of the rally, expressing concern over the Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir, appealed to the world community to play its positive role in the settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. They said, the way the demography of Kashmir is being changed, the people of Kashmir would never accept it.
Student leaders, addressing the rally warned India not to play with fire. They said that the people of Kashmir would sacrifice everything but would never allow India to change their status and identity. The speakers said, Modi-led fascist government has planned the genocide of Kashmiris, adding the scraping of Article 370 is the first step towards that end. They said, in second phase, the Kashmiri people will be forced to bow through economic blockade, curfew and intimidation.
They further said, in next phase India will try to suppress the freedom sentiment of Kashmiri people through mass killing and gang rapes, adding finally, the Muslim majority will be converted into Hindu majority. The speakers said, India should read writing on the wall that how Kashmiris hate it and would foil the sinister designs of Modi.
Meanwhile, a prominent religious scholar of Qom, Ayatullah Al-Uzma Noori Hamdani in a statement strongly condemned the Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and urged the Millat-e-Islami and Muslim rulers to take serious steps to stop human rights violations by India in the territory. He also demanded an immediate end to the killing of Kashmiris and blockade of occupied Kashmir.
