Pakistan and Germany have committed to reinforcing their economic partnership and exploring fresh avenues in a variety of sectors.

This commitment emerged from a meeting between the German Ambassador to Pakistan, Ina Lepel, and Pakistan”s Finance and Revenue Minister, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, held in Islamabad.

During the discussion, the Finance Minister stressed the importance of German investments across various sectors of the Pakistani economy. He also updated Ambassador Lepel on the ongoing International Monetary Fund (IMF) review mission, highlighting Pakistan”s progress in achieving both quantitative and structural benchmarks set by the program.

Ambassador Lepel, in response, explored additional pathways to enhance bilateral trade and investment. She also conveyed her support for the Pakistani government”s initiatives aimed at attaining sustainable economic growth, underscoring Germany”s commitment to a robust economic partnership with Pakistan.
