In a significant diplomatic development, a coalition of eight influential Muslim nations has formally endorsed a U.S. peace initiative proposed by President Donald J. Trump, aimed at concluding the war in Gaza and establishing a durable two-state solution. Foreign Ministers from Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Trkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt issued a joint declaration welcoming the American effort.

In the communique released by the Foreign Office on Tuesday, the top diplomats lauded President Trump’s “leadership and sincere efforts” to secure peace in the volatile region. The statement expressed strong confidence in his capacity to broker a lasting resolution and highlighted the critical importance of partnering with the United States to achieve regional stability.

The officials specifically commended key elements of the American framework, including proposals to halt the conflict, spearhead the reconstruction of Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, and block any further annexation of the West Bank.

Reaffirming their commitment, the ministers stated their readiness to “engage constructively” with the United States and other relevant parties to finalize and implement the agreement. They outlined essential conditions for a successful peace, demanding security for all sides, the unrestricted flow of humanitarian aid, the release of hostages, and a complete Israeli withdrawal from the territory.

The joint declaration concluded by emphasizing that a viable and lasting peace hinges on the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state. The group stressed that Gaza must be fully integrated with the West Bank, describing this unification as the fundamental key to securing enduring peace and security for the entire region.
