Quetta:As many as four persons were killed while one injured in firing and road accidents in Balochistan on Saturday.
According to levies, a speeding vehicle going to Kalat from Panjgur turned turtle in Nag area of Washuk. Resultantly, driver Altaf died on the spot while his father Abdul Qadir sustained serious injuries. Nag levies shifted body and injured to Nag Hospital. Injured Abdul Qadir was referred to Quetta after providing initial treatment while dead body was handed over to heirs after completing necessary medico-legal formalities.
Separately, unidentified armed men gunned down one person in Purana Bypass area of Sanjawi. Deceased Rahim Khan was going to market from home when he was shot dead. Assailants managed to escape after committing crime. Dead body was a shifted to a nearby hospital.
However, a dumper truck hit a motorcycle on the eastern bypass area of the provincial capital. Resultantly, motorcyclist Mansoor Ahmed died on the spot. The body was shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta and later handed over to heirs after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, a family strife took the life of one person namely Bashir Ahmed S/O Fazil Jan in Tera Meel area of Dasht on Saturday.
