KARACHI: Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Spokesperson for Sindh government and Advisor for Law, Environment and Coastal Development, while reacting to the statement of Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, has said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had taken steps to tackle corona virus.
“The world knows that the criminal negligence and irresponsible statements of incompetent Imran Khan spread corona in Pakistan,” he said in a statement on Wednesday. He added that the people were not only misled but also killed by declaring corona as common flu. He said that the Sindh government had taken serious steps against the corona virus from day one and had taken all possible steps to save its people. “In Islamabad, the federal ministers are scattering SOPs by celebrating birthday parties. The selected and incompetent federal government has not given up politics even on the deadly epidemic.”
Wahab also said that PTI had played a pivotal role in spreading corona epidemic in Karachi. He said: “Haleem Adil Sheikh deserves the first award for being more loyal to Imran Khan. Grabbing the lands of honorable and poor helpless people has become the identity of Haleem Adil Sheikh. Everyone is aware of his past and present.”
“In the third wave of epidemics, Khan Baba and his forty thieves were playing politics instead of caution and PTI leaders were inciting traders and citizens to violate SOPs,” he said. Wahab also termed Fawad Chaudhry’s statement as ridiculous and said that it would have been better if Fawad Chaudhry had asked Sindh Governor Imran Ismail about the implementation of SOPs.
