GWADAR: Marine Squad of Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan claimed to have seized drugs amounting to Rs 560 million in an operation within the maritime limits of Jewani on Sunday.
According to a statement issued by Collectorate of Customs Balochistan, Marine Squad of Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan seized a huge quantity of drugs from an anchored ship in the maritime limit of Mal, Jewani. Among the seized drugs, that was to be smuggled abroad via sea, included 1250 kilograms of hashish, 17 kilograms of crystal drug and 14 kilogram of heroin.
The operation was conducted by the Marine Squat of Customs, Gwadar on the directives of Chief Collector, Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan, Gul Rehman and Collector, Customs, Gwadar, Tahir Qureshi.
