Sindh Minister for Local Government and Housing Town Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, chaired a crucial high-level meeting in Karachi to address the city’s deteriorating infrastructure.

Heads of local government bodies were in attendance as Minister Shah underscored the urgent need for restoration, aligning with directives from Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to alleviate public suffering.

Minister Shah mandated a detailed listing of all structurally unsound buildings to safeguard citizens” lives and property. He also called for the establishment of a technical committee of specialists to devise strategic plans for infrastructure enhancement. Addressing the Water Corporation, he insisted that water supply and sewerage issues be prioritized, reiterating that providing relief to the populace aligns with Chairman Bhutto”s vision and their collective mission. The completion of ongoing development projects was emphasized as a key step in improving urban infrastructure.

Additionally, Minister Shah highlighted that these infrastructure improvements would not be confined to Karachi but would extend throughout Sindh. He urged all institutions and political entities to collaborate for Karachi”s advancement, adhering to Chairman Bhutto’s vision for the region”s betterment.
