Karachi:Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter amir, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has flayed lack of facilities in the hospitals of Sindh government.
In a statement here Saturday, he said news about denial of admission to corona patients on pretext of no bed space in government hospitals are worrisome. He also criticized private hospitals for not obliging corona patients and asked government administration to make public details about available ventilators facilities and new purchases, number of patients and medical facilities being provided to needy in hospitals.
Government by setting up quarantine centre at Expo Centre Karachi is only giving lip service, he remarked. Even after passing more than three months, government has failed to deliver in improving healthcare facilities. He suggested the government should devise an information and admission system for benefit of needy as to save them from mental agony.
