The District City Police, in a major crackdown against street crime across multiple areas, has taken into custody a previously jailed murder accused along with two other professional criminals. The arrests highlight the ongoing challenge of habitual offenders in the city.

The three individuals were apprehended during targeted raids conducted within the jurisdictions of Baghdadi, Nabi Bakhsh, and Chakiwara police stations. Authorities have confirmed that these operations were part of a coordinated effort to dismantle criminal networks in the area.

Authorities have identified the arrested suspects as Mujahid, Junaid alias Lota, and Razzaq. During the arrest, law enforcement personnel recovered three pistols and ammunition from their possession.

Further investigation into their backgrounds revealed that the suspects are habitual offenders. Mujahid, in particular, has a serious criminal record, having been previously arrested and imprisoned in a murder case and on separate charges of possessing illegal weapons.

Formal cases have been registered against the three criminals in the respective police stations. The accused are being handed over to the investigative authorities to face further legal proceedings.
