Following the terrorist attack on the Frontier Constabulary headquarters, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned it and ordered an immediate high-level inquiry into the security lapse.

The Chief Minister on Monday sought an immediate report from the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the incident and directed the authorities to conduct a comprehensive review of all aspects of the attack.

Mr. Afridi ordered the provision of the best available medical treatment to the injured personnel. He praised the bravery of the soldiers, stating that their courageous action averted a major catastrophe.

Calling the attack “extremely regrettable and condemnable,” the Chief Minister expressed his resolve that such cowardly acts could not demoralize the security forces and the government.

Mr. Afridi announced that the culprits, whom he described as elements devoid of religion, would be brought to justice. He stressed that the sacrifices of the martyred personnel, the pride of the nation, would not go in vain.

The provincial leader reiterated the commitment to combat terrorism with renewed determination, stating that all available resources are being utilized to establish peace and dismantle terrorist networks.

He assured the provincial government’s unwavering support for the police and other law enforcement agencies. The Chief Minister prayed for the high ranks of the martyred personnel and expressed solidarity with their bereaved families.
