LAHORE: Two dacoits were killed in an encounter with the police in Shahdara Town, Lahore on Monday.

According to the police, the dacoits belonged to the ‘Topi Gang’ and had been involved in robberies in the area. The dacoits had killed Aneeqa, a girl who had come to purchase milk along with her father, during a robbery. Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz had taken notice of the incident.

The Topi Gang had martyred a constable four days back. After the encounter, the locals chanted slogans in favour of the police.

On the other hand, dacoits killed a security guard in a store in Raiwind. Meanwhile, unknown people shot.
