QUETTA:Bismillah Khan Achakzai, President, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shaheen Unit Pushtunabad, has said that major problems of the residents of Pushtunabad, including education, health, irrigation and cleanliness, have been brought into the notice of Qasim Suri, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly for redressal, but despite lapse of considerable period of time, no action has so far been taken.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said that in Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area of Pushtunabad, sewerage system is in a very dilapidated condition, causing thereby hardships for the people during rainy season.
He said that neither any healthcare facility has been established nor has any primary education school either for boys or girls has been set up in Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area of Pushtunabad in Quetta city. He said Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani Madrassa street in Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area of Pushtoonabad has not yet been metalled though Qasim Suri has personally been requested for the purpose.
Achakzai said that after his elavation to the position of Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Qasim Suri did not bother to visit any areas of Pushtunabad, a dense populated area of the provincial capital, to get himself acquainted with the problems of the people. He said that organizational structure of PTI has completely been destroyed due to the fact that Qasim Suri has completely forgotten the office bearers and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pushtunabad chapter. He called on Prime Minister, Imran Khan to announce special development package for the development of Pushtunabad, Quetta.
