Authorities on Tuesday arrested the suspects involved in the brutal torture of a young man, with the Punjab Police taking the alleged accused into custody in less than 24 hours of the incident.
Law enforcement agencies are further investigating the detained suspects. After the inquiry, the accused will be presented in court to face legal proceedings and potential punishment according to the law.
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, commenting on the broader law enforcement strategy, affirmed the department’s commitment to public safety. The IG said, “The Punjab Police is taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of citizens and continues to implement a zero-tolerance policy against criminal elements.”
