Nepali Ambassador for enhancing trade ties with Pakistan

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industries Khurshid Barlas along with a delegation including Executive Member Muhammad Aminur Rehman, Fahad Barlas Canonier Diplomatic Affairs and Mohsin Khalid called Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Mr Tapas Adhikari.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on tourism and economic issues between Pakistan and Nepal. The Nepali Ambassador emphasized that trade relations between Pakistan and Nepal should be increased, according to a statement on Wednesday. There are vast opportunities for the promotion of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal in various fields, which need to be utilized, says the ambassador.

He also emphasized that PIA Special Operations should be resumed to remove the traffic jams and help the economy flourish. During the conversation, the Nepali ambassador was invited by Khurshid Barlas, Chairman Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industries, to participate in the second Pakistan International Property Exhibition to be held in November.

The Nepalese ambassador assured him that he would definitely attend as the guest of honour. He assured Khurshid that he would definitely ensure his participation in the opening and closing ceremonies of the exhibition to further promote fraternal, friendly and investment between the two countries.
