The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has finalised a significant agreement with a French firm, a deal projected to generate an additional four hundred and sixty million dollars in revenue by increasing domestic energy production.
According to official information today, the partnership will see the implementation of modern water injection systems at the Kunner and Pasakhi oil fields, marking a key development in the nation”s energy sector.
This technological enhancement is forecast to boost the fields” overall output by an estimated nine million barrels of oil and three billion cubic feet of natural gas.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy by OGDCL to employ advanced technological measures and forge international collaborations to enhance the nation”s daily energy output. These efforts are reportedly supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is facilitating progress in the country”s energy sector.
