LARKANA: Assistant Executive Engineer, Taju Dero Sub-Division, Dadu Canal, Irrigation Department and Deputy Director, Property and Land, office of the Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railway, Sukkur, have separately issued anti-encroachment drive letters to Assistant Commissioner/Mukhtiarkar, Ratodero, anti-encroachment force, police force 3, Sindh Rangers and Superintendent of Police, Railways, Sukkur, Quetta and Multan, respectively, for removing encroachment from railway lands.
The anti-encroachment drive will be started in Nawabshah, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Padidan, Mehrabpur, Rohri Dera Murad Jamali, Khanpur, Rahimyar Khan, Ghotki, Silra Shahdadkot, Radhan, Sadiqabad, and Rehmani Nagar. The letters contain a schedule of encroachment removal from the land properties owned by the irrigation department and railway.
As per the letters, the drive will commence in Ratodero taluka from 19th February which will continue till 26th February. The occupied lands will be retrieved from Dadu Canal NIP side 188, 191, 196 to 205, 214 to 216, Phulpota Minor IP and NIP side 1 to 3 and Saidu Dero Minor IP and NIP side 20 to 8.
