Pakistan and France have renewed their pledge to collaborate on the advancement of human rights and the development of inclusive policy reforms, marking a significant step in bilateral relations.
According to official information today, the agreement was solidified during a formal meeting between the Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and the Ambassador of France, Nicolas Galey, held in the nations capital.
During the discussions, Minister Tarar underscored Pakistan”s dedication to the Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) framework, highlighting its importance for driving governance improvements, bolstering institutional capacity, and ensuring sustainable development.
Ambassador Galey recognized Pakistan”s initiatives in this area, welcoming the demonstrable progress made in legislation and the reinforcement of institutional safeguards within the country.
