Pakistan’s Diplomacy Praised for Role in US-Iran Ceasefire


Karachi: Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have been credited with helping to secure a ceasefire in the recent US-Iran conflict, according to a statement from the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI). The organization’s leaders praised the contributions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, highlighting Pakistan’s role in promoting global peace and stability.



According to Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, the joint statement from Patron-in-Chief S.M. Tanveer, President Muhammad Ikram Rajput, and Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya underscored the importance of Pakistan’s intervention in reducing regional tensions. The statement noted that these efforts not only decreased the threat of a potential nuclear conflict but also contributed to economic improvements, including a spike in the Pakistan Stock Exchange and a drop in energy prices.



The KATI officials emphasized that the ceasefire has positive implications for global economies, trade, and industrial activities, with Pakistan playing a central role in these developments. They also expressed optimism that this diplomatic achievement will pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
