KARACHI:Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) chairman Altaf Shakoor said on Sunday that 25,000 government employees and bureaucrats with dual citizenship are uprooting the country while the present government raising slogans of change had failed to oust this menace.
“Dual citizenship and incompetent rulers, ministers, secretaries and bureaucrats are at the root of the problem. To get the country and the nation out of the quagmire of problems, it is necessary to get rid of them,” he said in a statement. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan should expel persons with dual citizenship from government houses and administrative bodies. “Just changing faces does not change the system,” he observed.
The people with dual citizenship should be fired from government employees as the common man can never reach the assemblies unless the feudal lords, chiefs and capitalists are thrown out of the assemblies, he observed.
PDP chief said discrimination of people on the basis of race, color, language, creed, religion, etc. was a tactic of those who maintained the system of oppression. Shakoor said the country’s elites do not want the people to be united, they divide us and then hunt one by one, he added.
