KARACHI: Prices of the 24 karats of pure gold in Pakistani markets have increased by Rs1,750 and reached a historic price of Rs1,61,300 per tola on Monday.

According to a report, in the international market, rates of gold have also increased by US$4 to US$1,759 at the beginning of the week. Anyhow, the rates of 10 grams of gold of 24 karats increased by Rs1,500 at Rs1,38,288. In the local market, the rates of pure silver of 24 karats remained unchanged at Rs1,710 per tola.
